Develop your speaking skills

These extension courses focus on speaking skills. Course materials are specially designed by British Council experts with reference to the local school curriculum, the DSE and other exams.

Classes are taught by experienced and internationally qualified teachers in a small-class setting which is focused on interaction between teacher and students.

  • S3–S4

Speaking Skills (S3–S4)

On this course you will: 

  • discuss issues critically, form opinions and express your views and arguments convincingly with suggestions
  • learn to use appropriate gestures, facial expressions, intonation, eye contact and formulaic expressions to create engaging presentations
  • learn ways to organise your information and arguments and learn how to express your views precisely.

This course is only available to S3 and S4 students who have registered for Secondary Plus in the September or February semester.
