UK and overseas universities offer a wide variety of qualifications for students who wish to study from their home country. We assist these universities by administering exams on their behalf.

You can also take resit exams at the British Council Hong Kong, so you don’t have to return to the UK during your holiday.

How do you register?

Please ensure you have contacted your institution and obtained approval from them to take an exam with British Council Hong Kong. It is the student’s responsibility to complete any documentation and settle any payment the institution requires.

Complete the exam request form and return it to us. We will contact your institution when we receive your exam request.

Exam timetable

Exams are normally held at the time specified by the universities. Neither the British Council nor the candidates can make changes to the exam time.

How much does it cost?

Our exam fees cover venue hire, invigilation charges, secure storage of question papers and scripts, and courier charges. Our fees do not include fees charged by the exam board. Please get in touch with the board to discuss their exam fees.

If the fee is responsible by the eam board/ institution, we will contact the exam board/ institution to settle the exam payment.
