About Speakers

Anushka Purohit
CEO and Co-Founder, Breer

Anushka Purohit is a final year student at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, studying Electronic and Computer Engineering. She is the CEO and Co-Founder of Breer, an award-winning start-up in Hong Kong that collects unsold, uneaten, surplus bread, and uses it to brew local craft beer. She is also the CTO and Co-Founder of StayK, a platform bringing hidden gems in Hong Kong onto a digital platform for easy access.

Andreas Halner
Co-Founder and President, Oxford Cancer Analytics Ltd (OXcan)

Andreas Halner is the Co-Founder and President of Oxford Cancer Analytics Ltd (OXcan), a company which seeks to make early cancer detection a reality for patients and their families worldwide. OXcan applies biologically-informed machine learning techniques to analyse patient blood samples, which can be swiftly and routinely collected from patients. Andreas studied pre-clinical medicine at University of Oxford and is now completing his DPhil (PhD) in Clinical Medicine and Machine Leaning.
