The China Oxford Scholarship Fund (COSF) was established in 1992 to provide scholarships for students from China who have been accepted for graduate study at Oxford and who will return and contribute to the future development of China after their studies.
COSF is run by volunteers and is completely independent of the University, therefore please refer to the COSF website for the definitive information about these scholarships.
COSF offer a number of different awards on an annual basis, the value of which will vary. COSF usually expect the awards to be used towards the cost of tuition fees.
Eligibility
To be eligible to apply to the China Oxford Scholarship Fund awards programme, a student must be a Chinese citizen ordinarily resident in the People’s Republic of China, Hong Kong or Macau and must have an official or conditional offer from the University of Oxford at the time of application. Students who are already studying at the University of Oxford are also eligible to apply. However, preference is given to those who will begin their first year of graduate studies at Oxford.
How to apply
The application process for China Oxford Scholarship Fund (COSF) awards is completely separate from that of the University of Oxford. You should apply directly to COSF.
