As part of SPARK 2024, the British Council in Hong Kong’s Teaching Centre is pleased to present the upcoming Health and Well-being in the Classroom symposium to be held in October 2024.
This symposium will explore themes related to mental health and wellbeing for teachers, secondary learners and young adults; inclusivity in the classroom; special educational needs and disabilities; and also spotlight the work the British Council and Christian Action does to improve wellbeing for asylum seekers and refugees in Hong Kong.
We invite teaching professionals of English language and other disciplines, as well as parents and young people across Hong Kong to take part in our events, where you will be able to hear insights from experts and peers, and share and enrich your experiences.
The symposium will take place over 3 days between 18-20 October at AIRSIDE in Kai Tak, with some events also taking place online.
As part of the symposium, the British Council also welcomes secondary (S4-S6) learners in Hong Kong to take part in our SPARK English Competition.
