This exhibition showcases a series of imaginative design responses to a variety of contexts and challenges in and around Hong Kong, featuring research, field observation studies, design exploration, sketched ideas, visuals and virtual and physical models, including an immersive augmented reality experience.

These exemplary selections of architectural projects are underpinned by a civic-natured, people-centric and sustainable urban community ethos and focus on tackling real world issues in Hong Kong, and its environs (Lamma Island, Lantau Island, Fanling, Sheung Shui and Macau). The aim is to show the sensitive role architecture can play in enhancing and reshaping our built environment and communities, but more importantly improving the quality of people’s lives.
