Ignite the SPARK! is an outdoor performance that ignites young people’s creativity and imagination through fire drawings, exploring the science and art of combustion.
Winners of the UK Outdoor Event of the Year Award 2016, Walk the Plank will deliver fire drawing workshops with a small group of young people over two days during SPARK. At the end of the second day, the fire drawings will be ignited outdoors for a wider audience.
Walk the Plank is a collective of land-lubber outdoor arts fanatics who collaborate to dream up, create and produce outstanding moments of outdoor theatre and spectacle. Based in Salford near Manchester in the North West of England, UK, their vision and ambition is to bring their highly-spirited outdoor arts experience to all points of the compass, both nationally and internationally.
